We're Back!!!
Where to begin? Where to begin? It seems like since February our lives have been crazy. Soon after we got home from Seattle, we took Anya to Primary Children’s to have some tests run. She has been having several UTI’s right on top of each other. We found that she has a condition called Urinary Reflux. Come to find out, it is fairly common. She has a mild case and so that means she should just grow out of it. Basically, it just means that she can’t completely empty her bladder and the remaining urine flushes back up to her kidneys causing infection. Because of this, it has led to other problems. Carter has named them Anya’s Plumbing Problems. To say the least it has been a very stressful situation in the bathroom almost daily for the past few months. She is a trooper! She rarely complains, and when she does we know she is miserable. I hope we can out grow this quickly, because some days it completely puts me over the edge. It is a terrible feeling knowing as a mother the only thing you can do is sit there and just try to comfort her, but not take the pain away. We were able to take her to the Discovery Gateway before her appointment. She had a great time playing. We are anxiously a waiting spring to come. We are so sick of the cold and snow. We have had a few nice days where we took full advantage of the warm weather and soaked up every minute it lasted. For Spring Break, we met my family in Salt Lake and took the kids to the Zoo, the Aquarium, and again the Discovery Gateway. My kids ended up not feeling too hot, and sure enough, they have Strep again!!! After a week on antibiotics, they still are not feeling too great. I just can’t wait to be able to get outside and get some fresh clean air!! I just realized that I didn’t take one single picture of Easter. I am a slacker. It was pretty low key with them both being sick. We stayed home from church and just rested all day. Now for our last bit of news, I guess it is about time that I can say we are expecting baby number 3 in September. I am 20 weeks along now. This came as a total-unplanned-shock to us!! It took some time to sink in, but we are happy to add this little addition Lucas Loren to our family!!!
