Summer Fun!

This summer has been very busy for us. I spent three weeks of July teaching swimming lessons. Jesse is traveling all over the state running oil title. I stay in Lyman during the week, then when Jess gets home on Friday we go home to Cokeville for the weekend. Anya is becoming quite a "Busy-Body". She is trying to crawl and is very close to accomplishing it.She just squrims all of over when you try to hold her because she wants everything she sees. She loves being outside and especially loves the water. The water in the pool in these pictures was straight from the hose and was freezing. She didn''t mind at all. Anya and I, took a trip to Boise so she could meet her Great-Grandma, who turned 92 this past week. She was a good little traveler. As you can see, she has found that when she doesn't have her bink "Mr. Duck" will do the job just as well. The pictures where Dave is holding her, she is with my cousins baby Claire. Look at her hair! She is a month younger than Anya and weighs 3 lbs more and has 5 times the hair. Over all , it has been a crazy, busy summer, but we have had fun. I think both Jess and I are ready for school to start, so that we can be in our own house and not be living out of suitcases.

Swimming and Horse Riding!

On the weekend of the 4th, we went down to Malad and Logan. In Malad, Anya got to ride her first horse. I think that I was more excited than she was. She seemed more interested in eating the saddle horn than anything else. We also went to Logan and went swimming with Mark, McKenna, and Henley. Anya loved it! She is definitely her mother's child when it comes to water. As you can see, she really liked chewing on Henley's "Tittle" (turtle). It wore her out pretty fast, she fell asleep in the pool. It was a fun weekend with both sides of the family!

Babies, Baseball, and Belly-Dancing?!

Well, here are our most recent pictures. Anya is now 5 months old and can sit up by herself. She is still just a little wobbly. By the end of the week, I think she will get the full hang of it. We went down to SLC the other weekend to go to a Bees game with my family. It was so hot, but still fun! We also ran into my good friend Holly at the entry gate. Small world huh?! Grandma Karen just got back from her trip to Europe, and this Belly-Dancing outfit is one of the things she brought back for Anya. It is so funny. Jess said that this is the only time she will be able to wear it and maybe Halloween. He also said that she would never leave the house in it because of the lack of modesty, you know.
