Let the Summer Begin!!!

We are certainly starting our summer off with a bang! We have been playing outside a lot lately now that the weather is finally nice enough. Anya played outside with the slip-and-slide at Grandma Huntsman's house with Carter and Jillian, and loved it! We have also been visiting the park a lot lately. If you look closely at the second picture you can see the beginnings of an allergic reaction to sunscreen! Notice her running nose and her eyes beginning to swell. Luckily, the doctors office is across the street from the park and we got her all taken care of. The next few hours were spent with a constant stream of tears and ruubbing red itching eyes! We spent our time Memorial Day weekend in Logan and Malad. We drove to Logan on Friday and went camping up Providence Canyon. Mark and Mckenna came up for a little while and then went home for the night.( I am still trying to figure out why 9-month pregnant Mckenna didn't want to sleep in a tent...) We then met up with them Saturday and took Anya to the Zoo. It was her first time at the Zoo and I think that she liked it. While we were there, there was this bizzare "snow-storm". It was actually cotton, but it was so heavy that at one point, we could barely see or breath. We tried to make "snow-balls" ,but they didn't work out so well. We then finished off our weekend with a trip to Malad with Jesse's family. Matt, Stef, Corbin, and Annie came and stayed the night with us on Sunday and then we drove down to Malad together Monday morning. Annie was the babysitter in the back, holding Corbin's bottle and feeding Anya crackers. She did a good job and kept them both entertained for the most part. Thanks Annie! We went to the memorial service and then had lunch at Great-Grandma Willie's. WE took Anya to see the sheep while we were there. She hated them!! We then went and saw the horses. It took her a bit, but she did finally warm up to them. She even let them eat out of her hand. It was a fun weekend. We are excited to go camping this weekend in Lyman, while we are there for Dave's graduation!!!

Lagoon & Rainy Days!!!

This past weekend we went to Lagoon. We knew it was supposed to be a rainy day, but I kept praying that it wouldn't be too bad. It rained the entire way there, but right when we got to the park, it stopped! Yeah!!! At first, we weren't sure how Anya would react to the rides, so we didn't pay for an all-day pass for her. We went on one of thier complimentary rides and she loved it! That is when we decided it was worth it to pay for her pass. She loved the rides and had so much fun. She even rode a few all by herself. I was afraid that she would try to climb out, but I think the excitement of it all kept her sitting pretty still. She rode on "Puff the Dragon," and when it stopped at the end, she just looked up and said, "WOAH!!!" Matt and Stef showed up at the end of the day, and right after they got there, there was a downpour of rain!!! It only lasted about five minutes, but we were all soaked after it. Luckily, my mom had sent a rain coat for Anya. She thought she looked pretty cute. It turned out to be a great day and we are so glad Anya enjoyed herself!!
