This past week, Anya has experienced many firsts. So, in commemoration of these events, I've decided to post some video documentation of a few of them. (This is also a first for me, as I've never tried posting video footage on my blog. So, I hope this works.) Either way, enjoy!!
Here is Anya's first drumming lesson from Uncle David. Her dad actually started it, but we got the one with David on film. Notice the sweet beanie that Uncle Mark (or should I say Aunt Mark) hand-crocheted for her! Thanks, Uncle Dave and Aunt Mark!
After many days worth of strenuous practice and sweat, mentored all along the way by her dad, she finally did it! This was actually the second time, but the first time we caught it on film. She finally got her legs "up, over, and straightened out," right Dad?
We just started Anya on cereal this week, and although this isn't her first time eating it, it is the first time her dad had given it to her. (I can't decide if the unusually excessive mess is due to the one being fed or the one doing the feeding.) Thanks again, Dad!
And, because Anya always has her hands in her mouth, Uncle Jason concluded they'd probably taste just as good in his. So, here is Anya's first time with half an arm in someone else's mouth. As you can see, she really enjoyed it. Thanks, Uncle Jason. Hopefully, this first won't be the last.
