Anya is here!!!!!!!!!

Here she is! Anya Rachelle was born on Thursday January 24, 2008 at 7:57 pm. She weighed 6 lb. 1oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long. She has dark curly hair. From start to finish it was only 8 1/2 hours. Not bad huh! Both mom and baby are doing great.

We are alive!!

I know I have not posted anything for such a long time, but we are alive and well. Things were just so crazy with the holiday season and all (not to mention a move right in the middle of it all). Yes, we did move. We are now in Evanston, where Jess is doing his student teaching. We just celebrated our first anniversary and now are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Anya! I was told that I probably won't make it to my due date Feb 7th, but I guess we will just have to wait and see. At my dr. apt last week they said I was dilated to a 2 and already 75% thinned out, so I guess maybe she will come earlier than we were expecting, but I guess if she is developed and ready then we are ready too! Our carseat is in and my bags are packed so it's just a waiting game now I suppose. Other than that life is good. It is a little boring for me now with Jess back at school but I am told that I should enjoy it while it lasts, because in a few weeks when Anya comes I will not be bored any more!
