So, summer has come and gone! I can't believe how fast it went. However, we are so glad to be back in our own house and our own bed. Not that we weren't grateful to our parents for letting us stay with them, but we are just ready to be home! We had a pretty busy summer and are looking forward to things slowing down a bit and getting on some sort of schedule with Anya. I have finally broken down and have started to let her cry herself to sleep. (Something I should have started months ago, I know!) She is a pretty stubborn little thing, but I think she is getting the hang of it. We went to Bear Lake with my family a couple weeks ago. We had a good time. Jesse brought down the boat and we had fun wake boarding and skiing. Jess has had a brand new ski since right before we got married, and this was really the first time he has had a chance to use it. I had to drive the boat when it was his turn. I was a little nervous, but I think I did okay. He got up and that's all that matters, right?! Anya had fun playing in the sand and loved to sleep on the boat. She also got to go swimming with her Aunts in Lyman. She loved it, she just kept talking and talking. Also, as you can see from the last picture, Anya has found herself a new "clubhouse." It's great for us, as we can simply throw her in any laundry basket with a few toys, and she'll stay happy for quite a while. Overall, we had a fun summer, but are definitely ready to be home and start the school year. I am, anyway. (I'm not so sure about Jess.)

It's nice to see that not everyone in the world has traded in a ski for a wakeboard. How are you doing? I was looking at Sharpe's website and saw the ekat blog and found yours. It looks like life is going good for you. We have a beautiful family. Take care.

I found your blog while I was looking around at other peoples. Anya is so cute. Isn't it so much fun being a mom? It is so funny that she loves the laundry basket. Braydon started playing with ours the other day too, it will keep him entertained for quite a while as long as there are a few toys in it. Your blog is way cute, good luck with everything.
